*I’m not satisfied.
I did translate it to Ukrainian as well-also not satisfied.
(why -I don’t know. Craved some distance. didn’t happen)
**The rhythm is the same, pretty much, only the division of stanzas are different.
That’s for a very stupid reason-when I try to check it backwards it confuses the translator, quite severely.
It doesn’t do so in Ukrainian (why? “не дает ответа”), so there I kept the original format.
What do I care about what the Google translator does? actually I shouldn’t.
But-it’s for
, mostly. So the author can at least have a glimpse, some vague impression about my unfortunate attempts

in Ukrainian:
****************** (feel very free to point out mistakes if you find them-my Ukrainian used to be much better, я не застрахований від помилок)
***Unfortunate or not, take 1 of many or not-this poem hit me hard.
So I’m showing it to you nevertheless.
I’m working on something else which I hope to post shortly-which I was going to post, actually-but this comes first.
So I hope to see you soon-but as I’ve…a fluid family situation, it can also happen, that I become less active, or might take me much more time to read, or.. (cut, I told myself)
So, so grateful for you being here,
Chen/April
How loving of you to do this 🙏
I ask you, truly, Chen, which would be understood best or carry the meaning closest to English for a reader of Russian or Ukrainian?
